Nomad Pencil Bullnose Utopia matte pairs that same taupe with a low-sheen surface, making it the quietest edge the range offers in a warm color.
Warmth and restraint are not easy to get at the same time. A warm color in gloss tends to advertise itself, and a restrained edge usually means retreating to gray. This does neither: the taupe keeps a room’s temperature up while the matte surface keeps the edge from drawing a line, which is the combination to specify when the field tile, the stone, and the joinery are all supposed to belong to one another.
The piece is slim and rounded on one side, toned to the Utopia field tile so field and edge meet exactly in matte.
Glazed ceramic takes no sealer, and neutral cleaner handles the upkeep.
Indoor walls, steam showers, and exterior walls in frost-free climates. Nothing underfoot, nothing submerged.
Request a sample and set it where the tile will meet the countertop or the cabinetry.
