How to shoot an install worth $100
Professional shots are always welcome — and so is your phone. Whatever you shoot with, these five things make the difference.
— Chase daylight. Turn off overheads and shoot when natural light hits the surface — texture reads best in soft, indirect light.
— Clear the scene. Bottles, tools, and towels pull the eye. Two minutes of tidying doubles a photo's chances.
— Shoot straight and level. Hold the camera level with the wall or floor. Straight lines make the material the hero.
— Get close, then step back. Send one detail shot of the texture and one wide shot of the whole space. We often use both.
— Send the original file. Skip filters and screenshots — full-resolution originals are what make print possible.

How do I get paid?
If we use your photo on our website, social media, or print marketing, we'll email you a $100 gift card. No forms to chase, no waiting on a check.
What kind of photos work best?
Finished installs in real spaces — showers, backsplashes, walls, floors, and above all pools. Pool and outdoor installs are what we're after most this season. Natural light and a tidy frame go a long way. Phone photos are welcome.
Will I be credited?
Wherever the format allows, yes — we're glad to name the homeowner, installer, or design firm behind the work.
How will my photos be used?
By submitting, you confirm the photos are yours (or that you have permission to share them) and grant Island Stone & Tile a non-exclusive right to use any selected image on our website, social media, and print marketing. You keep ownership of your photos, and we'll credit you wherever the format allows.
Can I submit more than once?
Please do. Every project is a fresh chance, and each photo we use earns its own $100 gift card.
