Description

Nomad Sago Just White gloss is a decorative ceramic wall tile whose raised striations, rather than its color, are the whole event.

Sago takes its form from the ribs of a palm frond: fine raised lines and curved edges running across the face of each 3.5″ × 12″ tile. Set in a white, nothing tonal competes with that geometry, so what you read is pure shadow and highlight. It is the most graphic way to use the pattern, and the easiest to live with over a large area.

The relief comes from its own tooling. Sago carries a set of six faces entirely separate from the plain field tile’s, so the lines break and restart across a run instead of stacking into an obvious repeat. A semi-transparent glaze deepens wherever the surface drops, which is what puts a thread of shadow inside every striation.

The pattern is offered in gloss only. Its color matches the Just White field tile exactly, so the two can be banded, mixed, or run full height without a break.

Interior and shower walls, steam showers, backsplashes, and fireplace surrounds clear of the firebox. Nothing underfoot, nothing submerged.
