The 1"x1" straight-set grid is Lava's most adaptable format, and Obsidian Shine carries deep, glossy black with a dramatic pearlescent sheen easily across steps, curves, and pool floors. Instead of the glassy shimmer of the standard finish, this slip-resistant mosaic wears a fused glass aggregate — set into the surface at temperatures exceeding 1,025°F — that gives Obsidian Shine a softer, more diffuse texture, one built for pool and spa steps, shallow pool or spa floors, Baja shelves, and other wet-traffic surfaces. That toned-down shimmer holds true underwater as well, so we'd recommend reviewing a physical sample before specifying.
